Carrying on the tradition. Each year, the winning ice cream flavor from freshman class FDSC1101 is created in the Dairy and is available at the Dairy Bar starting on Slope Day.

This years flavor is Honey Crunch, a vanilla based ice cream with a honey infused caramel swirl, and crunchy toffee pieces. Make your way to the Dairy Bar on May 10th and give it a try!

Tuesday is milk bottling day! This milk was picked up from the farm on Sunday, separated and pasteurized yesterday, is being bottled today, and will be delivered to campus dining and retail units tomorrow. Local, fresh, and delicious!

It’s ice cream production day in the Dairy plant and we are busy getting ready for commencement by filling 8 oz cups with Bavarian Raspberry Fudge and Collegetown Cookie Dough! Once the cups are filled, they make their way through the line for a quick date stamp, and then directly into the negative 40F blast freezer. One secret for making smooth, creamy ice cream is to freeze it quickly, before ice crystals have time to form!
