Phonograph Cider is a high-quality, sparkling cider produced using wine-making techniques with fresh ripe NYS apples.

Thoughtfully created ciders with depth and complexity. Excellent fruit is the most essential element of great cider. We spend countless enjoyable hours scouting out old orchards in Upstate New York to find the best apples available. Farmstand orchards all over New York have been pressing this fruit for cider for generations and have kept these heirloom varieties alive and well. This fruit has character and elegance that is more than tangible in the cider - it is intensified.

Our Story

Excellent fruit is the most essential element of great cider. We have spend countless enjoyable hours scouting out old orchards in Upstate New York to find the best apples available. Many of the people we have met along the way growing these apples are now friends, and we love that they love what they do. Farmstand orchards all over New York have been pressing this fruit for cider for generations and have kept these heirloom varieties alive and well. This fruit has character and elegance that is more than tangible in the cider - it is intensified.

We work closely with orchards between the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario to grow the exact varieties that make great cider. For us, they manage the orchards with less inputs for a more environmentally responsible orchard management. For example, the block of bittersweet cider apples is fertilized only with organic composted manure. We also work closely with a woman-owned & POC-owned orchard and are actively involved in helping to keep this orchard in production.
