Niagara County NY 4-H is hosting a Working Goat Fun Show on May 18th. There will also be a goat microchipping workshop on site. I have attached here the flyer for the fun show (your goat does not have to be a working goat to show) as well as the registration form for the fun show. We will have harnesses and carts available for you to try. Even if you don't show in working goats but are enrolled in 4-H and would like to give it a try ~ this event if for you. The adult class is super fun! You get an idea of how your child feels showing their goat and it is an awesome event! DO IT!!
Info on the microchipping workshop follows: The Goat Microchip Clinic will take place during the Fun Show on May 18. 2024. Dr. Sarah will be microchipping during the show. The only time she will not be available is when her daughter is in the show ring. The cost of the microchip is $12/goat and needs to be paid at the time of service. Forms of payment are Cash, Check, and Venmo. This service is open to all counties. The microchipping has streamlined fair check in and I highly recommend it. This is a discounted rate for this service and there will be no farm visit. You also do not need to be participating in the fun show to get the microchip. Please feel free to share this post.
