At GreenStar, the way we do business comes first. We are a full-service grocer offering in-house prepared goods and baked goods, a fresh meat and cheese counter, expansive bulk foods and health & wellness departments, beer & cider, and plenty of local, organic, and plant-based options. We believe that selling food with values is what makes our cooperative so successful. We give advantageous pricing to local producers. We accept EBT (Food Stamps) at all three stores, and offer a 13% income-based discount and Double Up Food Bucks through FLOWER, our food access program. "Join us at Stick and Stone Farm for Hot Pot in the Greenhouse on Oct 18th 4-7pm. Nationally recognized chef Natasha Li Pickowicz will be serving Hot Pot from locally grown farm fresh ingredients. All proceeds will go towards subsidizing low income CSA shares for the Full Plate Farm Collective. We will open the evening with Richie Stearns playing musing and Open Spaces serving cocktails, mocktails and w**e from Red Newt Cellars. Then we'll move into the greenhouse for Hot Pot, a classic asian meal. We'll be serving this farm to table style-during peak harvest for asian vegetables. Contributors include Stick and Stone Farm, Remembrance Farm, Autumn's Harvest Farm, Wellspring Farm, Red Newt Cellars, Ithaca Tofu, Food and Ferments, High Ground Gardens, Three Stone Farm, Tree Gate Farm, and GreenStar."

In honor of Indigenous Peoples Day on Monday, October 12, GreenStar will donate 100% of profits from sales to the Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ Learning Project. Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ Learning Project is a collaboration of Indigenous and non-Indigenous people working to promote awareness and practice of Gayogo̱hó:nǫˀ (People of the Swampy Land; Cayuga) language and lifeways in their ancestral homelands and beyond.
