Its been so long since I have been on here, I am so sorry. Well we have added a few new members to the farm since I was last here. We now have a Tennessee Walker and mule. This spring we will be plowing up the garden old style :) The Walker named Valentine needs weight on him and some training but he is a sweetheart and Dorthy the mule is broke and all she wants is to be with you. We also have a new Tom turkey and some quail.

oh wow sorry I havnt been on for a while been busy with working on the farmhouse and taking care of all our baby animals. We have had broody chickens and eggs in the incubator so yes we have chicks everywhere and more coming. two of our pygmy nannies are pregnant and about ready to pop any day. We knocked through the living room wall and now have a nice open living area. We have almost finished our new kitchen and I am so excited to get a bigger space to can and cook! We will saw dust the floor this weekend and then seal it to make out saw dust grout and should be set mid week.

Fruit is coming in just beautifully! Now if only I can keep the girls from sneaking out and eating it as it comes in. I ...

Fruit is coming in just beautifully! Now if only I can keep the girls from sneaking out and eating it as it comes in. I think they have had wild black berries every morning with breakfast. Cant wait to start canning them!( the fruit not the children) ;)

we have more chicks hatching! so we had to hire a security guard since the price of eggs and chicken have gone up. ;)
