My name is Jillian and I am a proud 1st Generation Cuban-American. My roots are super important to me, so you can imagine how I feel about cooking. I learned as a young girl by watching my Abuelita cook in her kitchen. Her home always smelled of Sofrito and Love. I am a PROUD Mama of 5 Minions and a Proud Wife to His Hotness, Seรฑor Baldness ๏ฟฝand they are the whole reason for me doing this. My whol

e life I struggled to fit in and find my way. I was diagnosed Autistic a few years ago and many things were answered for me in that one diagnoses. I also walk through life with ADHD. I decided to not allow these two diagnoses define who I am. My three boys are also Special Needs and walk through life with many difficulties. I want them to know they can do ANYTHING no matter what a doctor says. So I took my three best traits and put it into this business. My Love of Food, People and Family drives me. My Empanadas are my babies in the kitchen. I handle each one individually with love. Happy National Empanada Day!

I received an email earlier this week from my kids school principal...with a flyer indicating that April 8th is National Empanada Day (hint hint Jillian๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ)...of course she sent it jokingly...but what the Staff at Crawford-Rodriguez Elementary School does not know is that I am going by later today with 100 Empanadas for these AMAZING educators! They're going to enjoy both my Sweet and Savory Empanadas because what better way is there to spend National Get Chunky Day than by feeding our very over worked, under paid and completely dedicated people in our Education System?! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

I am so excited to see their expressions when I walk in with box after box after box! The Principle is the only one who knows of my surprise and she and I CANNOT WAIT! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿฅฐ
