5-19-22 God sent us quintuplets! Here’s a copy of the original post.

He is worthy of so much praise!
I don’t even have words to explain the presence of Him I felt today.
I got to the barn this morning to find 5 babies and 1 mom!! I immediately started searching for another mom. There wasn’t one to be found. The ewe that had all 5 babies loves all of them! (James 1:17)
I guess after searching through the flock twice, she did indeed have quintuplets! Wait, what?!?!? In the 20 years that I’ve owned sheep, I’ve never even had quads so quintuplets was hard to wrap my brain around!
😱After some research, the odds of having quintuplets are 1 in a million! 😱
I got her settled in a pen and began to continue to look for another ewe that might have lambed. I found yet another momma and baby out by the fence. I got her settled in a pen and combed through them again. Still nothing!
“Did God really just send us quintuplets?”
As I’m scanning the barn, I notice all the little lambs that have been born, I notice how they are sleeping right up against their momma. Or the ones that are crying for momma. Those are seeking their master like we should be seeking ours! (Jeremiah 29:13)
Emotions hit me like a ton of bricks!
I began to cry at His glory (John 11:40) surrounding me in the barn, thanking him for all these blessings (Psalm 9:1) that are right in front of my eyes, that I’ve been praying for. (Luke 11:9)
As I stand in awe in the barn, I just can’t stop crying, barely able to breathe and thanking and praising him! Look what He has done through faith! (Mark 11:22)
After going in from morning chores and doing a little paperwork, I come back to the barn to find the 5 babies all sound asleep with momma. Which I took the picture I put the verse on!
After lunch I went out to move some ewes around and make room for the ewes that are going to lamb soon. (Malachi 3:10)
After finishing that, Brandon comes home to help. As we load some lambs up to haul to the auction tomorrow, we noticed twins being born in the lean to. Another ewe was trying to claim the twins and drag them away from their real momma. So we get the ewes separated and the one that hadn’t lambed yet is now in the barn. I watch as she gives birth to not 1, not 2, but 3 babies.
So in a days time, with the storms rolling in, we have had 11 total lambs born. (Deuteronomy 28:4) then a beautiful sunset to end the day!
I asked for Him to watch over our flock. I asked Him for rain for the hay and pasture. I asked for good flock health among other requests. I told Him I would give Him all the glory if He showed us His blessings raining down from heaven. (Philippians 4:19)
Beyond Blessed doesn’t even begin to describe the overwhelming feeling that God is present in our barn, in our lives, and on our farm. I just feel so compelled to share with you this feeling of presence. He wants everyone to have a relationship with Him. He wants to bless everyone who believes in Him. He wants you!
This is just my story and I hope this helps you to take notice all the things He does and blesses you with. (Genesis 12:2)
