FRIENDS!!! and lovers of good music alike!!

Wanted to make a quick announcement to clear up some confusion. A couple weeks ago we adjusted our normal business days to Wednesday through Saturday.

All bands that were scheduled to play on a day that we wouldn’t be open were canceled.

Little Hopes slipped through the cracks, and we are soooo glad they did because these guys ARE WORTH opening for on a closed day. …so that is what we are gonna do.

THIS TUESDAY, Sept 1. The Tavern is opening to host Little Hopes and we hope you all will come out and experience the new and improved Tavern, and this Amaaaaaaaazing band.

Reminder that Upstairs is also now open and just a part of the Tavern, a cool, relaxed vibe, with great seating, great bartenders and great atmosphere, all it’s missing is YOU!

Come see us THIS TUESDAY, and any day after for your new hang spot.

Catch Cinema Stereo right here in Jackson tonight before they head across the pond for their UK fall tour.

Happy Hour runs 4–7, then they take the Tavern stage 9–1.

A quick heads-up: we’re giving the kitchen a little attention.

We’ll be remodeling this week, so the kitchen will be closed until next weekend.

The bar is still open, the drinks are still cold, and the music is still loud. We’ll have food back in action soon.

Thursday is doing a little bit of everything.

Community Night means 10% off all night for healthcare, government, and hospitality workers. Happy Hour runs 4–7, Girlfriends’ Night takes over upstairs 6–8, and then Johnathan+ Adam kick off Open Jam at 8.

Also: $4 margs all night. Because apparently Thursday needed one more reason.

That was a hell of a weekend.

Huge thanks to Brother Dusty, phases, Estanaula Barbecue Co., and everybody who came through, filled the room, sang along, danced, ate, drank, and helped make the Tavern feel exactly like it should.

We appreciate every one of you who showed up and spent part of your weekend with us.

And we’re just getting started.
