So, it's time for the exciting news! Dolly who we just introduced to you in the last post had a beautiful, healthy c**t late last night! We are very excited to introduce you to our latest addition Chief's Brave Comanche! Comanche was actually not a planned baby, but he is definitely one of the greatest miracles that God has blessed us with! Comanche's dad was not supposed to be able to breed according to the vets, but when he started to try and breed the horses, we had to make a special appointment to fix him. The only horse that he showed interest in was Dolly, but we didn't believe and even hoped that she didn't take. He was gelded shortly after he was with Dolly and we just thought she didn't take, but we have never been so glad to be wrong! In June, Comanche's dad unfortunately died due to reasons that no one could explain, the loss was absolutely devastating, and we felt like we lost a part of our family. Thankfully God had other plans, and He blessed us with a baby that we were not supposed to have! Comanche has one blue eye like his dad and one brown eye like his mom! We are so grateful that God blessed us with a part of Chief and we always remember him through his son!

This morning, we have some very exciting news to share! But first let us introduce you to Dolly! Dolly is a very sweet 8-year-old Paint mare born August 2, 2017! She absolutely loves to run and is probably one of the fastest horses that we have! She is very sweet and she loves people! She also really loves to get any kind of treat! She is one of the best riding horses that we have, and she was trained here on the farm! Dolly is related to a lot of the horses here on the farm, her mom is Mandy, she has one sister, Sunshine, and two brothers, Trigger and Sundance! While her mom and her siblings are great, she is also the mom to several babies here on the farm! Her first baby is a beautiful, sweet 4-year-old Paint mare named Dixie! Dixie was born May 26, 2021! Dixie is super sweet and really friendly! She absolutely loves people and food! Dixie probably likes treats the best of all of our horses!! Dixie is also a good riding horse, but she is better for most advanced riders because she loves to run! Dolly's next baby is Asher, born May 28, 2022! The name Asher means blessed and this plus his coloring when he was born was where the name Asher came from! Asher had a lot of problems when he was young because he got stuck when he was being born. Asher's tongue got swollen and he wasn't able to get the colostrum that he needed, so he had to get an injection if colostrum to allow him to live! Thankfully he learned to nurse shortly afterwards, but he ended up tearing a tendon in his back right leg, after several months and lots of prayer God healed Asher and he is now a very healthy and strong horse that shows no signs of his previous injury as a foal! Asher is super sweet and loves people! He is very calm and actually prefers to walk instead of running when he is being ridden! Rebel is Dolly's next baby! He was born September 14, 2023, and is a Chestnut Paint Gelding! Rebel loves people and he is also very friendly! Rebel loves to play and leather is one of his favorite things to play with! He also loves treats and any attention that he can get! Rebel is just beginning to be taught to ride as he just turned two this past September, but so far, he is doing great and showing real signs of being as wonderful as his mom and siblings are!!

This week we are introducing you to Freckles a very sweet 13-year-old Paint mare! Freckles is very loving and she loves attention! She is very calm and laid back and she enjoys playing in water! She is also a very sweet mom and has wonderful babies! She unfortunately cannot be ridden by many people because of an injury to her legs at birth! Though that limits her ability to carry much weight she does love kids and allows them to sit on her back occasionally! Freckles has had two sweet boys at our farm, Chief and Patriot, and is expecting another foal this Spring!

Good morning, everyone! Sorry that we missed last week's posting! We were busy trying to get some pruning done on the warm days that we had! We hope that everyone had a wonderful week last week and a great week so far! Here is the post for this week's Faith on the Farm! Life itself often requires a lot of Faith; we have to have faith that God will always know what we need and when we need it! It is important to realize that there are times that we don't get what we want but we get exactly what we need! We may see certain events as God not caring, often it is God giving us exactly what we need!

Trigger is a beautiful 14-year-old Palomino Paint gelding that was born March 29, 2011! Trigger is very sweet, but he is probably the most standoffish of all of our horses! Trigger is the son of Mandy! He got his name from Roy Rogers horse Trigger! He loves it when people bring him treats and he does allow some people to sit on his back, but he is not actually ridden regularly! He is currently being worked with, and we hope that in the future with God's help that he will be able to be ridden! While he is not as friendly as the others, he is still very nice especially to little kids, they are his favorite! And he loves apples! We thank God for blessing us with him in August of 2020 and for all the progress that He has helped to make with him!

Mandy is a 25-year-old Palomino Paint mare that was born on May 23, 2000! She is very sweet and she loves people! We got her in August of 2020, and we have thanked God for each year that He has blessed us with her! She is blind in one eye but that doesn't affect her attitude or her ability to take care of her babies! She is very calm around little kids! She is not one of our regular riding horses because of her age, but when she does get ridden, she is very calm and listens well! Mandy is the mom to 4 horses on the farm, but she has given birth to two of them since we got her! Her first addition to our farm was March 29, 2022, with a beautiful Chestnut gelding named Sundance! Sundance is now 3 years old! He is very sweet and loves playing with the other horses! He loves people and will normally come right up to you just to get petted, but he absolutely loves it when he gets a treat! He is one of the horses that have been trained here on the farm and while he is still learning he is a great riding horse! Her other addition to the farm was March 15, 2025, with a beautiful Palomino Paint filly name Golden Sunshine! Sunshine is the youngest horse born on our farm though she is not the youngest here, and she will be one in about a month! She is very playful and loves attention! If you aren't paying enough attention to her, she will make sure that you do! She is very sweet and she loves apples! She also likes to learn fun tricks! We thank God every day for the blessing that they all are to each of us!
