I sometimes forget to mention its not just pigs and cattle all the time! We also have a couple amazing nurse cows and some wonderful chickens! We have two hens raising babies right now, and they might be the cutest things ever!

I love breeding show hogs, but other then going to watch our FTT kids show, we never really get in to the true nitty gritty of the show world. And boy oh boy was it a humbling experience! These kids work their butts off to show up and show these hogs. These girls showed some of our breeding hogs, and some had never seen them or walked them before that night. And they truly made it look flawless.
Although I did my best to get these hogs ready, they were no where near what a lot of kids showed up with. And although we didn't get any call backs and some people thought I was crazy showing up with a couple 300lb pigs, I am so proud of myself, these pigs, and especially these kids. It was an incredible learning experience and just so much fun! I met a lot of people and got to see some of the top kids in the state show. People were so supportive and had great words of advice. All around, I came home feeling like I won more then just a banner. I can't wait until next year to show up (with appropriate sized pigs 🤣🤦‍♀️) and do even better!
This year we took 1st and 3rd in AOB class and 1st in heavy weight class.

We are so excited to be at the Hamilton Farmer's Market again this year! We also have quite a few pop ups happening this year!
We will be posting our schedule before too long!

Just a PSA for everyone coming to Gotcha Day:
As always, our pigs are coming out of a temperature controlled farrowing building. They can NOT go directly out in to the cold. They will need a warm place to stay and be acclimated slowly.
Please make sure to have your set ups ready to roll when you take these little monsters home.
