🎃 🪲🐛Some pumpkins are better than none, right? 🎃🪲🐛

It is so hard to keep pumpkin plants alive without spraying anything to keep the squash bugs and vine borers at bay. It's probably why we only had three pumpkins, but I just don't want those chemicals in my ground and on anything that we may eat. Any suggestions from those of you who also don't like to spray?

🥚🐣🐥We let a pair of broody hens hatch out some eggs this year. The Australorp and Copper Maran breeds seem to be the ones that go broody the most for me. This was our first time to have two broody hens together in the same pen, and I wasn't sure if there would be any jealousy issues or if we'd end up with dead chicks, but it was a success!🥚🐣🐥

Is anyone else swimming in canning rings? What in the world do you do with them? They're a little unwieldy and it's hard to keep them upright without toppling everywhere. Here's a hack we've been using for about a decade now. Super easy and very efficient. What more could you ask for?
