We live in a world where everything must be perfect. But there is beauty in flaws, in the broken bits. Look at the stained glass windows in cathedrals. These gorgeous masterpieces were born from the broken pieces of glass. The glass needed to be cut from the whole in order to be made whole again.

Compromise. Change. Growth. Maturity. If you asked me last year, these are not the words I would've associated with our Lavender bar. 16 months ago this bar nearly caused the downfall of our business. We couldn't agree on a design. He wanted change, I did not. Our vision wasn't the same. We were both ready to walk away from our business.
Im glad we didn't. Small businesses, like marriages, have obstacles. You can either allow it to cause you to fall apart or you can work together to traverse it. The latter comes with compromise and change which leads to growth and maturity. For me, our Lavender bar has changed from being a point of contention to now symbolizing the growth we have made.

One of the luxuries of living near the shore is the ability to have seemingly endless summer beach days with the kids. I think, if given the option, most of us would live on the beach. There is something so soothing about the ocean salt water especially on a hot summer day.

This inspired us to redesign our Sandbar. Sandbar is now made with sea salt creating a luxurious lather that feels amazing on your skin. Sea salt is a natural humectant drawing moisture into your skin. This leaves your skin feeling incredibly soft.
