George thought today would be a good day to meet the neighbors.

After giving the fence a little bump, he simply hopped right over and set off on another one of his famous adventures. If you know George, this probably doesn’t surprise you. This is the same goat who has somehow made a name for himself by getting his head stuck in just about every fence imaginable.

Once free to roam, George decided to introduce himself to the neighbors, enjoy some of their lush green grass, and soak up all the attention he could get. The neighbors were incredibly gracious and kind, welcoming their unexpected visitor with smiles and plenty of photos. George was more than happy to pose for pictures and charm everyone he met.

Thankfully, the neighbors came by to let us know where our little troublemaker had wandered off to. Before long, George was headed safely back home.

And because every great escape deserves a proper ending, George got to enjoy his favorite thing, a golf cart ride home. Judging by the look on his face, he’d call the whole day a complete success.

Life with George is never boring. One day he’s getting his head stuck in a fence, the next he’s hopping over one to make new friends.

Fresh, vibrant, and thriving in the garden. There’s something so satisfying about watching tiny seeds turn into beautiful, crisp heads of lettuce. The harvest season is getting closer, and the garden is showing off.

What started as fall-planted garlic is now thriving, pushing up strong green growth and doing exactly what it’s supposed to do after a winter in the soil. It’s a great reminder that garlic takes patience plant it in the cold, forget about it for a bit, and let nature do the work.

We were out digging the duck pond, feeling productive and hardworking… then suddenly a snake popped up

Needless to say, the duck pond project was briefly interrupted by screaming and Olympic-level jumping.

Be like a duck:
Float through the chaos, enjoy the sunshine, and don’t let the little ripples ruin your pond.
