After experiencing homelessness twice over the past three years, a local senior facing health challenges and memory concerns needed stability, support, and a place to call home. Through collaboration between local partners, emergency shelter services, rapid rehousing assistance, and housing navigation, she was connected to a landlord and moved from homelessness into permanent housing in less than two weeks.

Today, she has a safe home, access to healthcare support, and a stronger foundation for the future.

🏡 Building a Stronger Future for Their Family

We are incredibly proud of this family and honored to be part of their journey. Their story shows what is possible when hard work is met with opportunity, support, and a safe place to rebuild.

When this family arrived at our shelter five months ago, they were facing legal obligations, employment challenges, and the uncertainty of caring for their infant son while working toward stability.

Through determination and hard work, our client worked through his obstacles and secured union employment, providing a steady income and health benefits for his family.

Today, they are preparing to move into a two-bedroom apartment, marking an incredible milestone on their journey toward self-sufficiency.

In just a few short months, they have achieved so much.
