August is summer's last stand, and we plan to make that stand in the cool of the cellar. Join us for "Wood and Wine", a barrel tasting and woodworking demo on August 22nd. Your ticket includes three bottles of single vineyard Syrah, a barrel tasting, charcuterie and a woodworking demonstration by local craftsman Rich Holstrom. This week's library wine selection:
2016 Flagship Syrah!
It's rare we have even the current vintage open, let alone a 10 year old.

Winemaker notes: 2016 was a beautiful, albeit light, vintage for Mae's Vineyard. Red wines especially did well, as September was very warm and October proved to be sunny and mild, giving red varieties a long hang time, with skin and seed maturation at relatively low sugar levels.
