Wow! Thank you everyone hosted by for a record breaker sold out Saturday! Still kinda recovering from that excellent cooking dance party we had, and really wish there was time to buy some stickers for the trailer, but so happy for the awesome turnout and all the art that was there. DCAZ is always so magical and hope to sling food and books next year too🌱

This week, it's back to the regularly scheduled programs with a couple additions: Grief Relief over at the on Saturday after RAM, and there's some loose plans on setting up that we're nailing down for some matches(let's go Germany, and for all the trouble they're going through in the states, Iran has a lot of the heart too).

Apologies if you popped by RAM or the Alley Saturday & Sunday and the trailer wasn't there--should be back to normal for a few weeks:)

PS--the Backrooms film was really fun and really enjoy the fact that it's rocking VFX that isn't AI. Go check it out and be stoked for how something so wild was created by someone so young. Can't wait for the sequel and all the excellence of new filmmakers out there challenging arbitrary and supposedly evolutionary norms in film. See it at indie theaters, but if you can't, support theaters in general. All of this is about the experience and we're here for it🎉🔥🎉🔥🎉🔥

Happy Pride month y'all!!

We have some special events rocking this week, so the regularly scheduled programming is getting enthusiastically shaken up.

Downtown goodies Wednesday for lunch, DCAZ Saturday at CoRK(the first & second books of prose published by Happy Tapir Press, a ton of stickers, and our BTM pins will be available too:)), and the Vegan Link over at Myrtle Avenue Brewing on Sunday.

Hidden deep inside the slides is the easter egg August Vegan Chef Challenge menu which will be teased occasionally on the specials menu and then the whole month of August for your devour power. Hope you dig them much as we do!

Holy Hillsborough County 🔥🔥🔥

What an incredible weekend of phenomenal food, great times, and perhaps the best large-scale concert in recollection. Enormous thanks to everyone for the fantastic suggestions, everyone we had the opportunity to catch up with, and the new friends we met this weekend, it was such a blast of an experience and a pleasant break while being such an incredible party. Thank y'all again so much🎉

Edit: would've totally taken a pic of the delicious vegan Black Lagoon pizza over at Sun-Ray but we know the rules pretty good for the movies:) The itch is satiated very temporarily and must do this again soon already. Beautiful space💚💜

That said, stoked to be bringing the party back to Duval this week starting Tuesday at James Weldon Johnson Park downtown Tuesday 11-2 pm. Full schedule is on the 7th slide.

This week, just rocking Wednesday night in the Alley.

This weekend we're taking off to Tampa with the pups to catch , hoping to catch up and catch a film , and check out the sights to be seen. Holler if you know of things to absolutely check out, especially pup friendly:)

Likewise, if you're in Tampa and have a hankering for some of our seitan, hit us up in the dms by Thursday if you're interested in a loaf or more and you'll have it this weekend.

It's wild how much is going on right now. It can be downright exhausting, and that's by design. It can feel like the bad guys are winning sometimes.

Stay hydrated, get good sleep, touch soil, and remember to have fun. Take care of yourself and stand up for the right side of history in the eyes of the kids in the future. John Brown's day of birth was this past weekend, and he's a dude to definitely celebrate.

Today three years ago on the 10th we lost Cinder, our hurricane Katrina survivor pup, but she's remembered every time someone orders her namesake sandwich, among so many other memory cues. Positive she's still here with us.

Wednesday night there's a fun Nü Metal night going at Keg & Coin 7-9, but going to have a kickass themed special menu for it...let's party like it's 1999 but in drop d....and don't forget to raise your voice, throw a fist up, and do good trouble. The World is watching🌱🌱🌱

Had a super time going to the Best of Jax party in the chicken limo with some homies last week, enormous thanks to all who voted or thought of us! Glad to see so many friends at the event too--to say it's an honor to even be nominated in the biggest city in the country is an understatement.

This week, it's the usual haunts with an extra spot on Friday-- is throwing their Friday the 13th special event, and we'll be there later in the day. Not much better prep for ink than a patty melt, right?
