📣 A quick heads-up about this baking thing I’m doing 💛
Hey friends—so I’m still hanging in the Greatest Baker competition (thank you for the love 🥹), and I wanted to explain what this is going to look like so no one feels blindsided or burned out.
This competition runs through the end of January and is broken into multiple voting rounds that slowly narrow the field. I’m currently in a group round; first place advances automatically, and second place gets a shot via a wildcard round. Votes reset every round, so support really does matter all the way through.
Here’s the key thing to know:
👉 Everyone gets ONE FREE VOTE per day
👉 If you have a Facebook account, you can vote daily at no cost
Because of that, you’ll probably see me sharing a daily reminder during active voting windows. That’s not me spamming—it’s just how the contest is structured. You’re never expected to vote every day, but I want people to know they can if they want to. I also try to add at keast one new treat I’ve made each week. Seriously, yih HAVE to try our cookie crack 😉
One thing I want to be very clear about:
✨ I don’t use or support paid vote services. ✨
If I advance, I want it to be because people genuinely connect with my work—not because of gimmicks or bots. My baking (and my values) matter more to me than winning at all costs.
I also know I’m not for everyone—and that’s okay.
I’m here as a chaos baker for the people who’ve ever felt out of place in the kitchen. The ones who were told they had to be perfect before they could start. Baking, to me, is about trusting yourself, embracing the mess, and finding joy in feeding yourself and others—without fear stopping you.
If you vote once, thank you.
If you vote daily, thank you.
If you quietly cheer from the sidelines or scroll on by—no hard feelings at all. 💛
Thanks for being here, exactly as you are.
