Hurricane Mountain Farm We are a small farm in Jacksonville, AL. We have both AHCA registered and unregistered Highland cattle as well as Red Angus/Simmental cross for beef.

Our goal is to provide quality beef and to promote ethical care and handling of both breeds

We had an unexpected guest in the Highland pasture last night. Our Red Angus bull jumped a weak part of the fence to join the Highlands for dinner. I think they invited him. He was easy to lead back but we had to patch a fence in the dark. The joys of raising cattle!

Our neighbors gave us our first chickens, Silkies. I never knew how relaxing it is to just sit and watch them. I now have our first chick and hopefully, 8 more to hatch. Chilling with the feathered friends before heading out to the cattle
