What was once the realm of small, owner operated vineyards and their associated wineries - the production of wines of distinct character that gave visitors to France the chance to taste so many unique Wines - may be becoming extinct.

That's a sad thing. And it's also, a trend, unfortunately not restricted to France.

Every day, three French grape growers or winemakers decides to give up working as an independent enterprise. What are the implications for the industry?

We're going to stay open as much as we can during this excessive heat. We believe we can do that and still give our guests a pleasant experience if we shorten the open hours to avoid the hottest part of the day.

Until this weather gives us a break our new open hours will be weekends from NOON - 3:00 We hope to see you!

Be aware that we do tasting in the winery and it's not air conditioned. We can't accommodate tastings when the day's ambient temperatures go above 95. In such heats we will close the winery to tastings. It's not conducive to the experience we want people to have here.

VACCINATION EQUALITY!

From today through June 30 ANYONE presenting a proof of vaccination will receive a COMPLIMENTARY (on me!) wine flight. Normal price $5.

I don't think it's fair that ONLY newly vaccinated persons are getting the government and other business incentive benefits. This is my minor protest and inclusion of ANY & All. Hope to see you at the winery. Appointments appreciated. Ph 541 899-7264

FINALLY!
The winery is again open for guests! Hours Noon - 5 Sat & Sun.

Thanks to CDC's latest vaccination data analysis masks are no longer required for those who are fully vaccinated. They are no longer threats to either transmit or become infected by COVID.

Our policy will continue to be a strict COVID sanitizing regimen. Our Staff is completely vaccinated for everyone's protection and we will still offer liquid hand sanitizer to all and socially distanced indoor or outdoor seating for accommodate those who need or prefer to continue wearing masks.

We look forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones as we begin this return to normalcy. Come say hello and pick up some pretty fine wine.
