A huge thank you to Jacksonville Grub Mart for generously donating the smoked meat and to our Jacksonville Farmers Market for donating the hot dogs for Saturday’s market!

Thank you to everyone who came out in the Labor Day weekend heat to support our local farmers, makers, bakers and small business.

Your support means so much to all of us. We are incredibly thankful for a community that continues to show up and support local!

The "ber" months are finally here! In celebration, we'll be offering your favorite fall menu items at Jacksonville Farmers Market this Saturday, September 5th, but be sure to preorder to secure your dishes!

Don't miss our 1/4 pans of Chicken & Dressing (with or without the addition of a 1/2 pint of gravy) Sweet Potato Casserole, and Squash Casserole.

We'll also have Chicken Pot Pie and Chicken & Rice available.

All 1/4 pans are $20. Gravy is $5.

Preorder now thru Thursday, September 3rd at 11 a.m. for pickup at market on Saturday.

JCOC holds a very special place in our hearts. They are more than a vendor. They’re the reason we have this event. Every dollar raised through Spirit on Mountain Street goes directly back to JCOC and the work they do right here in our community.

JCOC is the heart and the WHY behind Spirit on Mountain Street. They give so much of their time, resources and hearts to our community and to the families who need it most.

They’re the reason kids start a new school year with brand-new backpacks and supplies. 🎒 They’re the reason children get to wake up on Christmas morning with presents under the tree. 🎄 They’re the reason a child may have new clothes or a new pair of shoes. They’re the reason a family can keep the lights on and their home warm in the winter or cool during an Alabama summer. They’re the reason some families have food on the table when they otherwise may not. And those are only a few of the things they do.

They quietly step in when people are struggling and remind them that their community hasn’t forgotten about them. THAT is what Spirit is all about, and THAT is why we do this every year.

From all of us at Spirit on Mountain Street and from the entire community….., THANK YOU, Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center, JCOC. Thank you for the countless hours, the compassion and for continuing to show up for our neighbors when they need someone most. We are so proud that every dollar raised through Spirit goes right back to helping you continue this incredible work. ❤️
