We love hosting at Landes Farms - Jamesport, Missouri and we are glad Ezra Long and Country Club George, Annie & Tango stayed a couple of days on the way to the Michigan Futurity. So I gave George a ride in Marilyn and he gave me a 4ride in the beast!

What a great event at the Midwest Texas Longhorn Association Sale in Marysville, KS!

I (Micah) was honored to be ask to speak on Friday evening at the breeder round table along with a few folks I highly respect in our industry. My two gal pals, Barbara Pshigoda and Meghan Vardman as well as a man I have followed and looked up to from the beginning, Dr. Mark Gilliland. Thank you to Justin and Amanda for hosting.

I also could not be more proud of my dear friends Joe Sedlacek and The Sayre Family (Alyson Shawn) for recieving the Midwest Icon awards. I can't think of any two families more deserving.

I would like to thank Ward Rabb for purchasing the high selling heifer and the People's Choice lot #3 24LF Kid's Secret. We sure are going to miss that sweet girl, but so happy for Ward! Also, thank you to another return customer, Eddie Kohler for purchasing lot #55. We appreciate all of your business over the years.

As always it was great to see our Longhorn family for wonderful fellowship and lots of laughs!

Thanks again to the entire Midwest Sale crew for all of the hard work and putting on a great event!

Check the Horn growth on this girl! I have been trying all week to get a good photo of her. As you can see, rain and KS/MO tornados have kept me from it. But, she has taken off on horn! This is one of the nicest WT Kid Rock (longest bull in the breed) heifers out there. She is selling as lot #3 at the Midwest Sale this weekend. Her mom is a solid foundation female with size, horn, and a great momma. Did I mention she is one of the few Paternal sisters to the $100k WS Vindicator?
