So many of you are asking us to get in on the CSA, that we're opening CSA enrollment one last time this season, and the timing couldn't be better. New members start the week of July 27th — just as the sweet corn, tomatoes, and all the summer bounty hit their stride, and right at the start of our fruit share.
If you've been missing fresh salads and crisp greens — missing food you can simply trust — joining a CSA is an easy choice. Our members haven't missed a beat: all season long they've enjoyed their daily salads and fresh greens!
We know the recent Cyclospora news has many people asking hard questions about where their food comes from — and rightly so. Public health experts agree that buying directly from local growers you know and trust is one of the safest choices you can make right now.
Cyclospora typically enters food through the massive industrial supply chains — shared irrigation canals, centralized packing plants — that our small farm simply isn't part of.
Here in southern Vermont, where the CDC confirms no cases linked to the national outbreak, we irrigate and wash with well water tested to drinking-water standards, harvest everything by hand, and sanitize all wash water in our own wash/pack facility. Our whole crew is trained in food safety, and we hold the gold standard in food safety certifications, CAPS+LGS through VFVGA.
Because we farm a few acres rather than thousands, we watch every step ourselves. This is not new for us, it's how we have chosen to farm and run our business from day one.
Membership is limited, and this is the final enrollment window of the year.
Claim your spot before the corn comes in! Enrollment closes at midnight on July 22nd: https://goldenearthworm.com/2026csa
We'd be honored to feed your family this season.
Your farmers,
Maggie & Matt
