I wish we had an update that looked completely different, but this is a time where our reality seems to fall only further from our prayers. We previously shared that Jamie was in an accident that broke his neck & has left him paralyzed. The entirety of his 2026 has been within the corridors of Pittsburgh hospitals, until his discharge home on March 10th.

Our family was reunited on home soil for the first time in months. But after only a short time together, we are devastated to share that Jamie is back in an intensive care unit in Pittsburgh. Since his accident in December, he has underwent seven surgeries, with more in the coming days. He is battling pneumonia, RSV, & is recovering from emergency surgeries to combat necrosis fasciitis that had reached his bone. After a drop in his oxygen & heart rate, they sedated Jamie & put in a breathing tube that will remain for an indeterminate amount of time. Those who know him realize that Jamie can talk to anyone about anything; he is blessed with the gift of gab. But for now, communication is impossible & I cannot emphasize how disturbing his silence sounds.

Throughout the past few months, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness of our community. It has brought us much comfort to know the love that has been shown for us from family, friends, coworkers, strangers, & supporters near & far. Thank you. Please continue to hold a place for Jamie in your hearts.

An update:
The weekend before Christmas, our lives changed forever when Jamie Holler, our husband, father, & heart of the farm, was life-flighted to Pittsburgh with a broken neck. Due to the severe injury to his spinal cord, Jamie is permanently paralyzed from his chest down. He has some movement of his arms, but is unable to use his hands at this time. He has underwent three surgeries & has spent several weeks in the ICU. Our family is still early in navigating the realities of caring for someone/living with disability, but we know there will be continued challenges ahead. In the coming weeks, we will be continuing to travel back & forth to Pittsburgh, working to modify the home, researching the right mobility aids, & doing our best to maintain the farm, while grieving the lives we once knew.

After a month of seemingly endless challenges, we are grateful to share that Jamie has made enough improvements to be transferred to another facility in Pittsburgh to begin therapy. We have been sure to share your well wishes, kind words, & heartfelt efforts with him throughout this incredibly challenging time. It feels impossible to fully express our gratitude for the kindness that has been shown to us, but to our community, THANK YOU; we will not forget this.

To our incredible community:
We have shared your messages of love & support with Jamie. Thank you; they have truly meant so much to us. He is in the ICU in Pittsburgh but he is stable. Those who would like to send cards, please message Sydney Holler.

Some have asked about donating to a GoFundMe; we are grateful that one has been set up. We know that many folks are not in a position to donate financially, but even sharing this post will make a difference & would mean the world to us.

Blessings to you all.

A few days ago, Jamie, our husband, father, & heart of Holler-View Farm, was in an accident that broke his neck & has left the bottom half of his body paralyzed with upper body mobility significantly impaired. We hope that over time he can regain movement in his arms & neck but the doctors have told us that it is unlikely that he will walk again. While we are so incredibly grateful that he is alive, our world has been upended. Without dad, Holler-View Farm as we know it would not exist. Our path forward is unclear, but we know it will be long & one of the most critical of our lives.

From the farms perspective, we have been undergoing construction the past several months which has affected milk processing operations. Dad has been integral in the progress of this project, but with the accident, milk bottling operations will continue to be on pause. We hope begin processing again in the future, but for now, we ask you to please keep Jamie in your thoughts as he & our family begin to navigate the long road ahead.

Lilly’s Orange Creamsicle is BACK! Now available at Als Melons Farm Market and Greenhouse - Conneaut Lake, Meadville Market House, & Mason Farms Country Market!

🚨NEW FLAVOR ALERT🚨
We are thrilled to finally bring your our brand new, limited edition flavor... Lilly’s Orange Creamsicle! 🍊 🥛

But wait... who is Lilly?

Our Lilly girl has since passed away but she was a cow that we’ll never forget. Holler-View Election Lilly was Sydney’s first 4-H cow and was shown at the Crawford County Fair, the Jamestown Fair, and even at Harrisburg.

When she had her moody moments, she would throw her head as if to say, “hey, don’t mess with me”... She was BIG and she knew it. But there were also plenty of moments where she’d cover you with cow licks and stretch out her neck for some hard-earned scratches.

With her intimidating size and unforgettable attitude, Lilly holds a special place in our hearts. This is why our family has decided to honor her with our new flavor, Lilly’s Orange Creamsicle.

We also want to thank YOU. We’ve had to overcome some speed bumps since starting this journey in December, but your kind words and continued support have made all of this possible. We truly couldn’t ask for for a greater group of supporters, so thank you all so much.

While Lilly’s Orange Creamsicle will only be here for a limited time, we plan to introduce other flavors in the future, so stay tuned folks!
