If you have never taken a trip out to Creekside Brewing Co, you are missing out on a serious hidden gem. In our opinion, this is the best craft BBQ on the Cumberland Plateau. I can't personally speak on the brew since I don't drink, but I have never heard a single bad thing about it.
Beyond the food, the humans that own and operate this place are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. We need to give credit where credit is due: Eric and Rashaell were a major motivational factor in us opening our own food truck.
Coming from Arizona in 2021 and having family in Texas, we grew up knowing what good BBQ is. We were looking for that familiar texture and flavor from back home, and from the moment we met Eric and Rashaell, we instantly became friends. We shared a common love for great food, and with them also being from Arizona, it was easy to see we were going to get along.
They even invited me to help out when they set up for the Taste of Crossville event, which I really believe was what helped put them on the map. Watching them grow from that moment to where they are now is nothing short of impressive. Even though they run a small operation on 127S almost to the Bledsoe County line, they bring huge flavors and even bigger hearts. People always find them, and they sell out almost every single day they are open.
Aside from the incredible smoked meats, they also do limited batches of desserts, including their famous Giant Big as your Face cookie that you absolutely have to try.
We don't get out there as often as we should, but if you want some of the absolute best BBQ and sweet treats in the area, you need to go check them out. They have covered seating outside as well as limited seating inside, so even on days with weather like today, it is well worth the drive.
Make sure you follow their page for daily menu updates, and keep their hours in mind:
Thursday: 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Limited Menu)
Friday and Saturday: Noon to 8:00 PM
Sunday: Noon to 6:00 PM
Get out there early before they sell out. If you happen to miss out on the food, stay for a brew anyway, which gives you the perfect reason to head back next time.
Be hungry, be patient, and be prepared for some dang good BBQ.
