About this space
Live on a working winery and vineyard! Experience this exceptional place located only 30 minutes from downtown San Diego, Zoo, Petco Park, Sea World and beaches. Steele Canyon golf course, wineries and hikes only 10 minutes! Sip coffee in your private courtyard and take in the country views. Enjoy our famous sunsets with star gazing as your evening unfolds. Included in your stay is a complimentary bottle of wine. Tasting room hours are 11 am -6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The space
The cottage is nestled on the top of a Ridge on the vineyard property. Vineyard views and access to the winery! Sweeping vistas of the mountain ranges, distant ocean and downtown San Diego! Amenities include a kitchenette for cooking, walk-in shower, comfy queen size bed with upgraded sheets, 2nd bed is upgraded bed and full size. There is a living area and smart TV. Both indoor and outdoor eating spaces. San Diego famous Balboa park and museums and Zoo, Sea World, and beaches are 35 minutes away. Nice country drive with warm days and breezes and cool evenings. Mountain biking, hikes and Steele Canyon public golf course and Jamul Casino just 15 minutes away.
Guest access
Guests are invited to use the cottage and porch and front yard area. There is a firepit that can be used with Owner’s permission due to fire ordinances in the area. Stroll over to the winery during opening hours. Wine available and delivered to your cottage.
Other things to note
We are a working winery - and the winetasting public is on site from 11-7 (technically dusk) Saturday and Sunday.
