One of my favorite things about Indian Island Winery is being able to partner with talented local artists and makers, and I’m so excited to share our next collaboration!

We are thrilled to welcome new merchandise from Ginny Bergerson of Fabulous Firefly. Her collection includes beautiful handcrafted jewelry and one-of-a-kind paintings that showcase her creativity and artistic talent.

Every piece is unique, making it easy to find something special for yourself or as a gift. Supporting local artists is something that means a lot to us, and we’re honored to feature Ginny’s work here at the winery.

Be sure to stop out and browse her beautiful artwork and jewelry. We can’t wait to hear which piece catches your eye!

And while you’re here, don’t forget that we’re open tomorrow from Noon to 9:00 PM, with live music by Crista Bohlmann from 6:00–8:30 PM. Grab a glass of wine, enjoy some great music, and check out all the beautiful new pieces from Fabulous Firefly!

⚡🍷 Some days are made for wine work… until Mother Nature changes the plans!

Today started out as a perfect day to spend some time in the production room, but when the thunder started rolling, I had to step out onto the patio to check out the rainfall. There’s just something about watching a summer storm from the winery patio—no better seat in the house. And it came down hard for a bit this afternoon. Check out the video from earlier today! 🌧️🍇

🌟 Meet Gina! 🌟

It’s time to introduce another one of the amazing people behind the scenes at Indian Island Winery!

🍷 Gina has been part of the Indian Island Winery family since April 2017 and is a key member of our kitchen team. If you’ve enjoyed a delicious meal here, there’s a good chance she helped make it happen!

Some fun facts about Gina:

☀️ Her favorite thing about the winery? The beautiful sunsets, the live music, and of course, our famous wine slushies!

🌲 When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family, and traveling.

🐾 She’s the proud owner of Luna, a very spoiled 4-year-old Black Lab and German Shorthair mix.

🥣 Her favorite kitchen items are the pork cheese bread in the summer and chicken wild rice soup in the winter, although she’s also a fan of the new cheese curds and fried pickles!

❤️ Something you may not know about Gina: She loves watching the Hallmark Channel and has spent the last two winters in El Salvador doing mission work with a church group based out of the Atlanta area.

🍍 And in one of life’s biggest debates, Gina says YES—pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza!

We absolutely love having Gina as part of our team. She always has a smile on her face, brings great ideas to the table, and is someone we truly value. Gina is simply the best, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the Indian Island Winery family.

Did you know there’s actually a story behind the name Indian Island Winery? 🍇

We didn’t just pick the name because it sounded nice. The land itself has a fascinating history.

Long before vines were planted, this property was used as a hunting camp by Native Americans. At one time, the area was nearly surrounded by water, creating a naturally protected island-like setting where hunters could prepare for the next day’s journey.

Over the years, our family has discovered numerous artifacts on the property. If you visit the winery, you’ll find many of those pieces on display. And here’s the really neat part—everything you see in the display cases was found right here on this land by our family.

We feel incredibly fortunate to be caretakers of a place with such a rich history, and we try to honor that history in our name and in what we do every day.

Sunday is calling for something easy, relaxed, and just the right amount of slow-down before the week begins.

We’re open from noon to 5:00 PM, and it’s the perfect afternoon to unwind at the winery—whether you’re wrapping up a busy weekend or just getting out for a little fresh air.

From 1:00 to 3:30 PM, enjoy live music from Melissa Schulz, bringing the perfect soundtrack to your Sunday afternoon. Sip, relax, and settle into a seat outside or in the tasting room depending on the weather.

No rush, no agenda—just good wine, good music, and a peaceful end to the weekend.

Saturday is here, and it’s the kind of day that’s made for slowing down and staying awhile.

We’re open from noon to 9:00 PM, and the kitchen is open all day long, so you can come and go at your own pace—lunch, afternoon wine, or an early dinner he patio.

Spend some time outside, enjoy a glass (or a bottle) with friends, and take in the easy pace of the day at the winery. Then at 5:30 PM, Jazz 10 takes the stage to carry us into the evening with live music.

We’ll have the wine ready and the patio waiting.

It’s Friday at Indian Island Winery, and the weekend is officially starting here.

The tasting room opens at noon today, so feel free to come out early, settle in, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon with a glass of wine and some good company. We’ve got snacks available for purchase if you’d like a little something to pair with your visit.

Then this evening at 6:00 PM, we’re excited to welcome Two for One for live music. Great wine, great atmosphere, and live music to kick off your weekend the right way.

Whether you’re stopping by in the afternoon or joining us for the music tonight, we’d love to see you at the winery.
