🐷 Six new little additions to the farm today! 🐷

Mama brought six beautiful baby piglets into the world, and she's currently tucked away in the back field keeping a very close eye on her babies. She's being a very protective mama right now, so we're giving her plenty of space. ❤️

Now comes the farm chores! We need to get their shelter cleaned out and ready so we can move the whole crew somewhere safe and protected from the elements.

Looks like we've got a busy day ahead of us! 😅

Well, the mystery has been solved! 🐐

We found 'Odin's' owners! As goats tend to do, he decided the grass must've been greener somewhere else, jumped the fence, and went on an adventure. 😅

It happens to the best of us when we overestimate our fencing. Trust me, I've been there... my pigs have definitely taught me a lesson or two about escape artists! 🤣

For now, Odin will be hanging out here until the Davis family's fencing situation is taken care of. That's what farming neighbors do, we help each other out.

In the meantime, he's got plenty of fresh grass to graze, lots of room to roam, and a few ladies to keep him entertained until it's time to head back home. 😁

We're just happy we could reunite him with his rightful owners and everything worked out in the end! ❤️🐐

Random boar goat found wandering up the road from our place today. The neighbor stopped and asked just about everyone nearby if he belonged to them, but so far no one has claimed him.

Since he doesn't have fencing or room to keep him, I told him the goat could hang out here until we track down the owner.

If nobody comes forward... I guess I accidentally adopted another biological lawn mower. 😅🐐

Big Mama is looking extra wide these days! 🐑❤️

Her udder is starting to fill up, which usually means we're getting close. We think we may have some new lambs making their debut before long!

Now comes the waiting game. 🤞 Keep your fingers crossed for a safe delivery and some healthy little lambs. We'll be sure to keep everyone updated when the newest members of the flock arrive! 🐑🐑🌾

🐐 Welcoming the three newest additions to the farm!

Meet Nelly (the big one), Elsa (our mostly white girl), and Joey! They're already settling in and getting acquainted with their new home.

Around here, you can never have too many biological lawn mowers! 🌱 With the back field looking a little overgrown, these three have plenty of work ahead of them helping keep the weeds and grass under control.

It's always exciting to welcome new animals to the farm, and we can't wait to watch them become part of the herd. Be sure to say hello to Nelly, Elsa, and Joey in the comments! 🐐❤️

Another new addition to the farm! 🐾

Meet Bear, our new Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog.

He's definitely a BIG boi already, and he's settling into his new job like a pro. Bear is out in the pasture keeping an eye on the animals, and from the looks of it, he's absolutely loving life on the farm.

We're excited to have him as part of the family and can't wait to watch him grow into his role. Welcome home, Bear! ❤️🐶🐓🐐

Someone from Beloit found a rooster on the road and asked if they could drop it off. Of course we will give him a loving home!

This is 'Maple' an Anatolian Shepard mixed with a great Pyrenees.

He's gonna be a great livestock guardian dog!

New pretty ladies in the herd. Willow and Milkshake. All the boys in the yard came running 😏

The new farm hand Brandy Cote loves feeding the goats and sheep animal crackers when we do morning chores.

Also anytime we have any branches fall off the trees they go over the fence and the pigs, goats, and sheep eat all the leaves off of them. Love our full circle ecosystem.
