The last sale of the season is set! We appreciate all the interest and people who have reached out thus far! The set is really coming on strong as of late and has us pretty excited!

It was this age group of pigs last year that the 9th overall Breeding Gilt at the Mn State Fair 4-H Show was sold out of - and there looks to be a handful that could fit that bill again!

I have a customer that bought this Chester gilt from me last fall in Duncan and is looking to sell her to someone that would like to breed her! She made the hill at OYE the other week and I think she could be a great asset in the crate! I would take her back, but I already have enough Chester’s the way it is 🤦🏻‍♂️😂.

Gilt is located in Elgin, Oklahoma but there is transport running weekly from down there up to Des Moines, Iowa to help with figuring out a way to get her back north if someone in the Midwest is interested in her!

Miss out on the online sale the other day? Don’t worry we have you covered!

Young Guns #2 is this Sunday in Owatonna, Mn!
- Doors Open around 11am
- Live Sift around 11:30am
- Live preview a little after noon
- Sale starts at 1pm

We held 3 back that we like a good deal and think you will as well!

- 5-6 is a short backed barrow packed with power and an awesome look up front!
- 3-4 is a flashy gilt that continues to get better each day! Good proportioned and motors around the pen like a cat!
- 6-2 is a special gilt we have a lot of faith in! She’s right where she needs to be today in terms of muscle pattern, bone and overall physique! Oh, and her mom, yeah she was Champion Spot at the ND State Fair in ‘23 and also raised the 3rd overall Spot Gilt at ND last year!

To all the bidders and buyers, to all that inquired and came to look at this set, a sincere thank you is needed. Without you, my wife and I wouldn’t be able to do this crazy thing we love!

A huge thank you to my parents as well! Thank you for watching the kids while Leah and I are busy working with the pigs. Thanks for the countless meals and words of encourage throughout the sale season up to this point. Without you, this wouldn’t be possible.

We’re not done yet, so make sure to check back regularly as we will have 1 more online sale here in April that will again feature spots and crosses born the last couple days of January to Feb 1. Things are really starting to shape up and I have high expectations for this set as well!

Again, thanks to all involved in making the sale a success last night!

We got started with pictures last night for our upcoming sale Tuesday March 17th!

We plan to get more done tonight and finish up tomorrow ahead of this blizzard coming in! Sunday will be the day we will get all pictures and videos up!

👀Exciting day at the farm. Heated water in the nursery/chip barn for washing our sale pigs!
