J & S Schmitt Farms is a family owned and operated farm that started in 1874, and is located on the north side of Jasper. Roughly 2000 acres of crops are grown including corn, soybeans and wheat, and over 200 cattle graze our pastures. We have a niche market of flax fed beef that is sold at the local farmers' market.
