Hey y’all! We will be opening up to see everyone the day after Thanksgiving as usual. We will be open that Friday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. This will most likely be our last official year to be open. It’s been a joy to be a part of so many traditions for so long now.

There is the possibility of being open on a couple of more days this year as well but that will depend on the tree count and will be announced here on Facebook. I estimate 100-150 trees ready to cut this year. My pocketbook wishes there were more!! My general interest, back pain and fishing wishes there were less! So it appears I have really grown old. HOWEVER!! It will be a pleasure to visit with many of you. Been working on the ole John Deere as it grows obviously weaker too! Do come!! The hot chocolate will be ready and the fire going….

Our friends at Pinetucky Farm tell me that they a much larger crop of trees this year! Don’t hesitate to give them a look also.

WOW!! What a great first day! Thank you so much for your business and for bearing with us as we struggled to keep up this morning.

In case you’re wondering, we DO have trees left! There are 6-7 footers left out there! And we still have 7-8 foot pre-cut Frasier firs available too. Tomorrow (Saturday) will be our last day of the season and we will be here from 8am to 5pm.

Good morning everyone! We wanted to let you know that we will have a small selection of pre-cut Frasier firs available this weekend as well. They are 7-8 feet tall and will be $125.

Now you may be wondering why you would come see us for a pre-cut tree? So here are a few pros for you:

1. You get to support a family in their attempts to own a small business.

2. We cut off the bottom of the trunk in order to re-expose the tree’s vascular system and have them sitting in buckets of water to keep them fresh.

3. Free hayride.

4. Free hot chocolate.

5. Free picture with Dennis.

The family has been hard at work making wreaths to sell at Pepper Place Market in Birmingham. But we are also getting ready to see all of you guys here next weekend! It’s looking like it’s going to be cold so dress warm and be ready to enjoy some hot chocolate!

We will be open Friday and Saturday (November 29th and 30th) from 8am to 5pm. Don’t forget to bring cash!

This year, in addition to having them available at the farm, Clear Creek Christmas Tree Farm is going to deliver our live wreaths to Jasper residences and businesses. (Wreaths only, not our trees)
We will also have a wreath booth at The Farmers Market at Pepper Place in Birmingham 11/23, 11/30, 12/7, and 12/14.

Good morning friends! We are so pleased to let y’all know that we will be open this year. We will open the day after Thanksgiving and plan to be open just that Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM. You know our song and dance by now, but tree selection is limited so come early!

All trees are $12 a foot. Please remember to bring cash or checks… and no. We still don’t do Venmo. We will also have some pre-cut Frasier firs available, just in case sawing down a tree isn’t your thing.

We so look forward to seeing everyone. So come get your tree, have some hot chocolate, and say hello!

Hello to all of our dear friends! We have made the very hard decision not to open this year. While the six days of sub-freezing weather had a great negative impact on our little farm last year, we also have made poor decisions as we planned in years past and just did not anticipate the demand. So many of you have bought trees from us for two decades now… We are so grateful. Currently we are continuing our efforts to sell you trees again. We are planting and tending and looking forward to welcoming you back here again…. Just not this year. We suggest you consider the folks at Pinetucky Christmas Trees. You can look them up on the Southern Christmas Tree Association website or here on Facebook. We wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas as you head into this season! A Few Thoughts from Dennis on being a Part-time/Hobby Christmas Tree Farmer…

Positives:
1. Over time you develop a loyal customer base WHO almost always bring us GOOD CHEER as well as $ for our efforts.
2. We get to burn calories all summer long and never lack for vitamin D
3. You get to meet the nicest folks during the best time of year.
4. You get to see the Great Grand Children of the Grandparents who used to bring their Grandchildren
5. Folks show up in the rain to continue their tradition

Negatives:
1. Our decisions (when to open, when to close, are we going to quit, how many do we plant, to save or not save inventory) greatly effect #1 under the positives.
2. We get to burn calories all summer long and spend lots on sunscreen
3. You fear disappointing the nicest folks during the best time of year.
4. You see widows and widowers of the couples you saw last year.
5. Folks expect you to help them in the rain as they continue their tradition.
