This Is the LIFE Mini Farm

This Is the LIFE Mini Farm David and Renita have lived in the country all their lives; have a love for God, family and animals! We are third generation cattle farmers.

We raise miniature cows, and we love helping people find the right cow to add to their mini farm.

This sweet Jack started eating yesterday afternoon at 2 weeks and 2 days old. Donkey Foals are just like children and each one progresses at their own speed.

I got some Mini Panlander loving early this morning 💞. I was putting all my feed up and noticed her right by the fence, and she didn't even get scared. This little heifer is one day old.

Newborn Miniature Panlander Heifer getting milk this morning. She looks to be drying as a Dun color, but the rain hasn't stopped long enough since she was born during the night to let her completely dry out.

Look what we were blessed with during the night! A Mini Panlander Heifer! She looks charcoal here, but as she is trying to dry in this 2 day rain in the Florida Panhandle, she is drying more of a Dun color. Her Momma, Magnolia never gets much FB time, but she is a Miniature Black Hereford with a Panda face and her Sire/Daddy was our Yellow Highland bull Hoss who contributed lots of fluff for this little heifer.

Jenny had the best time rolling in the powder dry dirt under the barn this morning (after coming in from the rain) and then wanted to rub all over me like usual, lol. In fact, almost all the donkeys laid down and rolled in the dry dirt before they left the barn and returned to the rain.

This doe has decided that the grass is better inside the pasture so she now jumps in the fence in the mornings in addition to afternoons. I finally caught her on video jumping the fence.

I don't always have to call Stetson and Cash from the back pasture for their afternoon feeding as they usually see me headed to the barn and come without me calling them.

This is what farm life looks like in the morning during feeding time and in the rain since the sun is coming up later every morning now. I'm thankful for the headlamp a great friend gave me to keep my hands free to work.

We had a rain shower and little Miss white Jenny decided to roll in the dirt!

Stetson, almost 4 months old, and Cash, 2 and a half months old both have new farms they are headed to. It's amazing that all 4 foals on my farm have the same spotted Jack for a Sire/daddy, but there are such a variety of colors. And these two came from Gray and Gray Dun Jennys, not my Brown Jennys. The Brown Jennys had a Spotted foal and a Black/Brown Foal.
