A quick note for our guests and followers: While our historic mineral spring is a unique part of the property’s history, it is not open for swimming. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, the spring was home to a bottling operation that sold mineral water throughout the region.

If you’re interested in local history, be sure to ask about the historic springs and bottling house when you visit!

Eight divisions will battle for big trophies, bonus-level payouts, and Mid-Season Championship bragging rights.

𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟯 🏁 If you were around Southern Raceway in the 90s and early 00s, you probably remember when the Mid-Season Championship was one of the biggest nights of the year.

Big trophies. Extra money. More bragging rights. 👀🏆

We’re bringing that tradition BACK. 💥 The Mid-Season Championship returns Saturday, June 13 featuring guaranteed bonus-level payouts, oversized trophies, and bonus money for points chasing drivers!

These races WILL NOT LINE UP BY POINTS. However, just like Championship races of old, we still want to reward the racers who have supported us every week. So any driver with PERFECT attendance in their division’s points races since the March 28 regular season opener who wins their feature event on Mid-Season Championship night will earn an extra $250 bonus! 👊💰

Here are the divisions racing on June 13:
🏁 Sportsman - $1,000 to win ($1,250 for perfect attendance)
🏁 Modified - $1,000 to win ($1,250 for perfect attendance)
🏁 Factory Stock - $750 to win ($1,000 for perfect attendance)
🏁 Vintage - $750 to win ($1,000 for perfect attendance)

🌧️ 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗺’𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 🌧️
We have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday’s Mom’s Night at the Races event at Southern Raceway.

We know many people were looking forward to the Ladies Powder Puff Race and the debut of the Stock Car Smackdown Series, but after the amount of rain we already received today and with forecasts calling for more rain ahead, we feel this is the best decision for our racers, teams, fans, and staff.

We are currently working on plans to reschedule the Ladies Powder Puff Race and will announce those details soon.

This round of the Stock Car Smackdown Enduro Series will not be rescheduled and pre-entries will be refunded via MyRacePass. The series will now officially launch on Saturday, June 27 with a $1,000-to-win event as part of our Freedom Celebration and Fireworks Night. 🇺🇸🎆

Now it’s full steam ahead toward one of the biggest events of the year at Southern Raceway! The Dirt Track Double Shot coming up next weekend, May 15-16, will feature two nights of racing for the USCS Winged Outlaw Sprint Cars PLUS Round 3 of the Late Model Challenge Series on Saturday, paying $3,000 to win for Crate Racin' USA Late Models.
