Teacher appreciation flowers-lemon procuts. Then a visit with my favorite Flower Farmer ! Even brought home some cosmos, zinnias and suns to plant at my aunt’s house. My oldest daughter accompanied me on this visit and promptly started on her new Pressed flower book! Today, my youngest helped deliver flowers to some lovely ladies! Last, some of the helpers around here-I believe an immature assassin bug. These guys just skewer anything that gets near them. Apparently, the wasp had a big meal as he was camping out on this sunflower a long time. Happy Mother’s Day! Wishing you a precious and blessed time with your family this weekend!❤️

Oh, I’m just here at the florist waiting on you! Some pretty procut gold and procut orange sunflowers went to our flower friend today! As always, a great visit with a lovely family owned local business.

Happy fall y’all! It’s 70 degrees inside my house and I almost need a puffy coat!
It is Roselle hibiscus season. If you ever wanted to know what the hibiscus looked like before it was turned into to tea this is it! These gorgeous sepals can be made into jelly or dried for tea. They also make a gorgeous floral arrangement. You can purchase by the stem. Pick up is at the farm in Chumuckla. Unfortunately, fall sunflowers did not happen because of bug pressure and hurricane Sally flattened everything else-hopeful for spring.

From the farm today. I may or may not have accidentally left the deep freeze door open causing Everything in it to thaw....so we have made a lot of venison burgers and cooked 1/3 turkeys. any clever ideas for this red okra and figs?
