Thanks to Missouri Farmers Care for highlighting Missouri Grown Member Harvick Farms and the Senior & WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program!

“Growing food is not an easy job,” says Lainey Harvick. When her husband, Joseph, retired from the Marines in 2021, the couple returned to their roots. First, they purchased a farm in Agri-Ready Designated Barry County near Eagle Rock and became first generation farmers. Harvick Farms focuses on food access and how it impacts the health and well-being of rural communities as an authorized vendor for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program hosted by the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
