🎉 There's a new place to play in Jefferson City! 🎉

We're excited to announce that the playground at Green Berry Acres (📍1915 Green Berry Road) is now open. The playground was relocated from North Jefferson Recreation Area as part of the highway construction project, with relocation funding provided by MoDOT.

In addition to its new home, the playground received brand-new pour-in-place safety surfacing, creating a safer and more accessible play experience for children and families.

⚠️ Please Note: Green Berry Acres serves as a JC Parks Summer Day Camp site. To ensure the safety of campers, the park will be closed to the public Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through August 14.

The playground is open to the public during evenings and weekends, and full public access will resume after the summer camp season concludes.

Thank you to MoDOT for helping make this playground relocation possible. We look forward to seeing families enjoy this great new addition to Green Berry Acres!

🎉🍩 Donuts with Dad & Play Local Reopening Celebration!🍩🎉

We are so excited to officially welcome our Play Local families back this Saturday from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM for a fun and casual day of play, donuts, and making memories together!

We'll have the Dutchmaid Donuts on-site serving their amazing fresh sourdough donuts, plus open play inside and a special Father's Day craft for the kids to create with their favorite person.

Whether you're celebrating with Dad, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother, Papa, or another special role model, we'd love to have you join us for a sweet morning together!

We're also excited to share that we've added one new big item for everyone to enjoy! We have several other exciting additions on the way, but many of them are custom-made and take time to build and ship. You'll definitely notice some fun new things this Saturday, and you'll continue to see new items arriving and being added over the next month or two as we refresh and improve Play Local.

Thank you all so much for your patience, support, messages, and encouragement while we've been closed. We have missed seeing your smiling faces more than you know, and we can't wait to fill Play Local with laughter and play again.
