Sonny Rose Ranch

Sonny Rose Ranch In 1978 Fred Vario aka “Sonny" and Rosanne Arabia "Rose” both purchased a 40 acre plot of farmland in Jefferson Hills Borough, located in Western Pennsylvania.

The 40 acre plot of farmland was originally used to raise sheep and cattle. The sheep were shaved in the summer months for their wool which was sold to local textile mills and wool polls. The beef cattle were sold off at the Washington County Auction. The 40 acre plot of farmland was given the name the "Sonny Rose Ranch" after its owners. Today the Sonny Rose Ranch is a haven for honeybees to forage along the rural terrain.
