Deal’s Orchard has 45 acres of apple trees with over 25 varieties of apples in our orchards. You can find Deal’s Orchard apples, cider, and hard cider in many central Iowa grocery stores. In the fall, we invite you to come and enjoy our family fun zone, Apple Acres, which has fun activities for the entire family. You’ll love our jumping pillow, giant slides, human hamster wheel, corn pool, pedal t

ractors, goat run and MORE! You can also try to navigate your way through our corn maze, and enjoy free weekend hayrack rides through our orchard and pumpkin patch. In November, our Apple Barn becomes a winter wonderland as we gear up for the Christmas season. Visit our Tree Farm and make memories finding and cutting your own Christmas Tree.

We're debuting a new hard cider slush flavor on Friday night: Berry Blast 🚀 We blended three of our favorite berries to create a slush that is the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and incredibly refreshing. Give it a try and let us know if we should permanently add it to the lineup.

Not a slush person? No worries, the tap wall is loaded. 🍏 We’ll have 8 different flavors of crisp hard cider on tap. And for you non-cider drinkers (boo! 😉), we’ve got you covered too. We'll be pouring ice-cold Busch Light and Exile Ruthie so nobody in the crew gets left out.

Fifteen years ago, in the summer of 2011, we officially got the green light to start producing and selling our hard cider.

We never had aspirations of seeing our name on cans or on tap at bars. Honestly? We just needed a year-round source of income. When your business only brings in money from July to December, making that stretch through the off season takes a lot of faith (and a whole lot of budgeting). Hard cider was a way to try and bridge that gap.

Fifteen years of hard work, local support, and staying true to our roots has brought us to today and to the arrival of our new tap handles. Who would have thought a simple plan to survive the winter would turn into so much more?

We planted a gorgeous field of rye... just to steamroll it. 🚜🌾

No, we haven't lost our minds. We’re just prepping the field to plant pumpkins. It keeps the soil happy and exactly where it belongs. Extra work? Big time. Worth it for the future pumpkin payload? 100%. 🎃💥
