We’re an 8th generation family cattle farm right here in Georgia, raising registered Angus cattle and doing things a little differently.

The beef you buy from us starts right here on our farm. Our cattle are raised here, processed in our own USDA-inspected facility and sold directly to families through Potts Family Meats. From our pasture to your table, we know exactly where your beef came from because we raised it.

Around here, you’ll see a whole lot of cattle, family, farm life and really good beef.

October's newsletter is out.

This month I went to the courthouse and pulled the deed records on a 69-acre farm near Maysville. It sold for $176,200 in 1998. It sold again this January for $850,000. Same land.

I also looked at how much bigger a fat steer is today than the one we sold 30 years ago. It's not just the price that went up.

Every number in it shows where it came from, parcel numbers and all, so you can check it yourself.
