We took the young horses to Sporting Days Farm Horse Trials. It was Solo’s first sanctioned HT and Haydn’s first of the year. Like true Eventers, both of them loved the X-C course. Here’s a few photos by our lousy, but dedicated photographer.

Spectating at the Stableview Farm 4* Event. Great weather. Great horses. Great riding. George was a volunteer scribe and x-c jump judge. Despite applying sunscreen, his legs did get rather fried way out there at jumps # 22 and #23.

A few snaps from a recent dressage clinic with Mike Poulin. Kate on Q and Haydn. Kaitlyn on George’s horse Baker, keeping him in shape until George recovers from knee surgery. Kaitlyn rode Solo, as well but the photographer (Ann) missed it.

Early morning at Souhegan Kennel Club's rally trial. It was a busy day with a dog in every class plus Fastcat! Gimlet likely had a near perfect score, but his bonehead handler walked right past one of the signs🙄 Knight had a great day qualifying in both Excellent and Advanced for another leg towards his RAE. Quite impressive for an almost 14 year old! Ripley scored a 97 for another leg towards her Advanced title. Chewy had a big day trying out rally and Fastcat for the first time. He was a bit perplexed at first, but figured it out and had a blast. Gimlet and Ripley got 2 more qualifying runs towards their Dcat and Chewy received his first 2 Bcat qualifiers. Huge Shout out to Rachel Mcgregor who helped hold, video, run, entertain, and release dogs for me today all while finishing her own dog, Harper, in Rally Novice and winning the class♥️
