Keep eyes out - we are looking into drone flight or aircraft spotting but folks on the ground and backyard camera's might help locate them sooner!

Steers are still on the lam - we believe they are still down in the woods and swamp area behind the farm - PLEASE if you see them
call us or message us ASAP - we will be attempting to locate with drone and if in Lancaster outskirts or roads off the North Road - be aware they could be traveling - they originally came from Millsfield up north and do not have any sense of where they are and are very scared! particularly of horses at this point in time. PLEASE do not chase them!

Advocacy
Only 2% of US citizens work in production agriculture. It is a foregone conclusion that virtually everyone reading this article is among that 2%. Therefore, we understand where food comes from, that beef cattle under our care and management have a higher standard of living than if they were released back into the wild. That beef production serves as a great example of sustainability and over the long-term the grazing ecosystem (consisting of soil, plants and cattle) can and does flourish when managed according to science and good animal husbandry. The point of this topic is to help understand that the other 98% of our population are far removed from production agriculture and therefore have a limited understanding of that knowledge.

Decision time! We have a young proven dark chocolate purebred 2 year old bull for sale - unregistered and headed to butcher in early November unless purchased - too good to slaughter but..... He is able to be easily registered as his sire is DNA tested already and paperwork is ready to go including DNA forms - priced fair and has bred cows successfully three times. I will post pictures later this morning - waiting for frost to burn off and them to come out of shed. PM if interested He loads easily and has a great disposition and confirmation.
