We have a few grapevine wreaths going to market this weekend, and Bob Wollam himself will be there with them today at ! We will also have the infamous evergreen wreaths available.
Aaannnnndddd speaking of evergreen wreaths! Our Wreath workshop is next Sunday 12/11 from 2-4 where you can learn just how to make your very own lush evergreen wreath with instructor Emily! With wedding season 2022 having wrapped up several weeks ago, we have had the chance to look back on some photos shared with us from our lovely couple's big days, and we would like to show you what our Custom Floral team can do! We love helping our couple's wedding flower dreams come true and we are so grateful to get the amazing photographs from very talented photographers. All three of the weddings featured in this post were at the farm with one in each spring, summer, and fall. We can't wait to see what 2023 has in store and are already working towards making more dreams come true for many more couples. Thank you to all the wonderful brides, grooms, wedding planners/coordinators, photographers, and so many more that help bring the magic to life!

Last night’s pumpkin centerpiece workshop was a huge success! While it was chilly out, 7 brave folk joined us and had a marvelous time creating a Thanksgiving table centerpiece! We are so happy to be partnering with the Culpeper County Parks & Recreation, and we will be having a wreath making workshop next month! Hope to see you there!

Hoop appreciation post! After some very cold nights nearly a month ago, we have been harvesting what flowers we do have, from our hoop houses! The snaps and delphinium were both planted in early spring, and have been providing since then (with a break in the late summer). The cosmos were planted in the late summer, as with the heirloom mums! Which one is your favorite!?!?

Hello flower and art lovers! Check out how it all looked at the glamorous Wollam Gardens Art Gala on Nov. 5th. We transformed our lovely Pavilion into an art gallery for the evening, and wined and dined our artists and guests. We now have some of that art in our gift shop, which is themed "Grace, Race & Renewing the Commons," so come and take a look when you're in Jeffersonton VA! In the shop, we also have books, vases, caps and T-shirts, and painted china plates, chachakies, and bunches of dried flowers. Early next year, watch this space for a "save the date" announcement for an En Plein Air event in 2023!

Last Friday our custom floral team went off site and prepared the “ Hydrangea Extravaganza” installation and centerpieces for the Annual Gala. We could not have been happier with how it turned out, and pictures do not do it justice. We are honored to have our flowers and design be showcased at such a wonderful event!

this past Saturday was nothing short of an amazing evening. It was truly a celebration of beauty, art, artists, delicious food, drink, and passion. We are so grateful to have hosted more than a dozen extremely talented artists and their work inspired from our farm. We are humbled by what they were able to create from visions and patches around the gardens. Not to mention the incredible bites from and fine Virginia wine from . Thank you to all who came and we look forward to start planning for next years En Plein Air x Wollam Gardens. 🖼️ 🌟 🎨 🌙

Who is ready to come learn about trees with us this Sunday! Here’s a preview of one of the trees that you will see on the tour! This tree is known as the bald cypress, scientifically known as Taxodium distichum is a deciduous conifer in the family Cupressaceae. It is native to the southeastern United States. It is noted for the russet-red fall color of its lacy needles. This is one of 30 of our trees in our arboretum!! We will also have homemade pumpkin, banana and apple bread along with apple cider! We are excited to have Here to fill your hungry stomachs after the tour! We will also be have here too to teach everyone about the importance of our environment! We would like to introduce to you several of the artists that will be showcased November 5th at our Art Gala. Lily May is the first in the photo series, who came out to the farm in 10/14 and was painting landscapes of the farm. Potter Suzanne Crane Fine Stoneware (second and third photos) came to the farm on 10/13 and collected greens for her inspired pieces she is working on for the Gala. Amy Zwirko is the fourth picture, who was also out on the farm on 10/14 and was working on a painting featuring our flowers! Lastly, Ashley Kline of ak photography has been out multiple times this month and takes gorgeous photographs of cats, flowers, and all things beautiful around the farm! We can’t wait to see their final works which will all be available for purchase at the En Plein Air grand Arts Exhibit and Gala. Harvested some more peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers from our roof top garden here at the shop over the weekend.
Been feeding these with Roots Organics Terp Tea Bloom and the flavors are amazing as well as the juiciness of the fruits!!
Great way to preserve your abundant harvest of tomatoes and cucumbers is to slice thinly and dehydrate into chips. Make great snacks for the road or hiking!!!

Our Cut-Your-Own patches will officially be open September 1st! However, we have Zinnias, Dahlias and Hydrangeas that are ready for you to come and enjoy.
Around the CYO patch is all the info your need to make this a complete DIY experience with signage for each type of flower and vessel options right at your disposal. Farm staff is always eager to help assist you and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you experience the joy of picking your own flowers!
The Farm Stand is Open! We have daily jars of small bouquets, bunches of flowers and some plants! Anytime you drive past, stop and check out our newest blooms for sale.
Our Gift Shop is up and running, self-serve like the farm stand. We now offer a full Snack Station featuring local products like Route 11 chips & Snowing in Space Nitro Coffee! Open Tuesday-Saturdays.

Wollam Gardens "Hot Blossoms festival". Was a blast. The venue is gorgeous. The people were awesome and the bands all crushed it 🤌🏻 We can't wait till the next one!!
