This huge 50 year old pine came down 2 years ago in the horse paddock behind my folks house. Took us 2 weeks to remove it and 4 burns to dispose of it. I think she's finally giving up the ghost. Each of the 3 stumps weighed over a ton. This fire has been burning steady since the solstice. We are pine smudging the farm.
