A ScHeidi farm update….
Our warm growing season is coming to an end. We removed the final couple of plants from the ground and are getting ready for Winter.
Our compost piles have been mixed with valuable leaves, which should help them cook away.
Finally built a shelter for our tractor, keeping it out of the elements.
Some fence work needs to be done to keep the pests (deer) away from the Winter rye, which is growing nicely in our new patch of garden. We’ll be expanding our growing of one plant type next year. Stay tuned.
