The Farm Between

We have plantings of sour cherries, seaberries, haskaps, and hazelberts that are just starting to bear.

We grow apples, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, black and red currants, gooseberries, and elderberries that have been bearing fruit for a few years now. Our black walnuts and hardy kiwis are still a few years out. We propagate many of our own plants and have a fruit nursery with trees and bushes for sale to encourage people to grow their own.

Sending a HUGE thank you to folks for showing up this winter! So much gratitude for those committed to shopping local, trying new products, and testing out our prepared foods. We’re in constant awe and thrilled to provide our community with nourishing food.

🥔 Seven varieties of potatoes at the farm stand! 🥔

🥔 Baltic Rose - A red skinned potato with gold flesh, buttery flavor. Great roasted, fried or boiled for mash or salad.

🥔Gold (Lehigh variety) - Creamy texture, with buttery flavor. Very versatile, cook all ways! We like them in soup, or mashed with rutabaga on Shepherd’s or cottage pie.

🥔Red (Chieftain variety) - Red skim, white flesh. Boil, mash, roast.

🥔Pinto Gold - A specialty gold potato with dappled red skin.
A favorite of our CSA members.

🥔Russet - Starchy with brown (edible) skin. Perfect for fries, baked potatoes or mashed.

🥔All Blue fingerling - blue skin, blue flesh earthy flavor. Best roasted, baked or fried as chips.

🥔Amarosa fingerling - red skin, pink flesh sweet and creamy, starchy. Holds color when roasted.

Our strawberry season is waning so stop on by for some of these certified organic unsprayed gems for shortcake before we move into blueberry season 🍰

We’ve also got loads of greens, kale, chard, cukes, zukes, new potatoes, garlic scapes, parsley, basil, eggs, dairy, rhubarb ginger jam, teas, herbal goodies, ferments, mustard and even some prepared foods!

We love summer farm stand season - how lucky we are to live in an area abundant with farms. Visit them all!
