We just got in this Xarel-lo by Enric Soler. Its amazing. Some of the heads out there might be familiar but if not, check it out. It rules, its just perfect. It’s herbal, citrus, stone fruit, and has just perfectly mineral driven salinity. Its elevated and will be sure to please even the most serious white Burgundy drinker!

Classics never go out of style, in fact they ARE style. Domaine Pignier is a prime example of this. Organic for almost 30 years these guys are masters of winemaking, proving you can make exceptional old world wines using sustainable practices. We had the honor of touring their cellar and vines last year, as well as eating a lot of comte in the tasting room! These are amazing people and it makes selling their wine that much more fun! 💘

A friend! A farmer! A vigneron! We don’t need to tell you about .texier but since we recently visited, here’s what we learned: Martin really cares about his vines. He’s a passionate farmer and he’s an amazing winemaker because you can taste and feel his love for farming in his wine. It’s just pure and good. It was refreshing and eye opening to see how dedicated he is to the health of his vineyards and his overall approach to farming. We have a variety of cuvées from him right now and every single one is so different and special in its own way. come in and ask us about them! Not to mention he is a total sweetheart and gracious host!

Grandma doesn’t want to drink wine with cartoons on the label? Snobby Uncle wont drink natty? You can bring this wine and have a little secret for yourself (shhh its organic). Stripped down, clean, mineral-y, nice and long, they’ll never know you picked this up at the cute little natural wine shop. Not to mention, its incredibly special… Pavese has the highest vines in all of Europe, and they are pre-phylloxera, so really you are time traveling! 📸

You hear a lot of talk about Gideon from Clos Saron. “Oh, he was in a cult”, “Oh, he’s some kind of hermit”, or this, or that, or some other thing… And yeah, he kind of is all those things. Naturally, we had to go find out for ourselves, and what we found was an extremely kind couple (Gideon and Saron) who eat, sleep, and breathe wine. Not in some annoying way, not pretentious, just natural, in a way where you can watch Gideon touch his vines as naturally as you would touch your own arm. He just knows and he just does. No long winded explanation… just pure connection. The wines are made the way they have to be and thats why we love them. We have had them in the shop since the day we opened, and we will have them in the shop as long as we can get them. We have some amazing back vintages available right now and if you like good things, you’ll want to try them.

This might not be a wine that grabs you when you’re cruising our shelves… but it should! Aiavecchia Pinot Nero from Tuscany will be a wine you won’t forget. Amazing Pinot grown on limestone soil way up at 700 meters. It’s cherry, it’s earthy, it’s got some cool mocha thing going on. It’s not too light, it’s not too heavy, it’s fresh, it’s tannic… it is a perfect wine IMO. 1,000 bottles produced.
