My brothers and I began our Rubicon journey long before our Rubicon Foodtruck launch in 2012.
A family friend, Billy Sims, encouraged us to take our family recipe to the next level.
Our mother gave us the name Benjamin Bros 19th Hole, tying the brand to the legacy behind why we began.
We are deeply grateful to our aunts and uncles for teaching us the recipe—The way Granny EXPECTS it to taste.
And it was our Dad who taught us the game of golf and built us up on principles rooted in Christ, that gave us the foundation to rebuild and carry forward the recipe our family left us.
My lil brother Blake and his wife poured their hearts into the Rubicon Potato JENKS restaurant— Not just to make Tulsa’s ultimate comfort food accessible from either side of the Tulsa grid, to a loyal fanbase that dates back to 1985. But also introducing the recipe to new faces, forging deep relationships, and infusing each day with purpose .
When their calling led them to focus more fully on their ministry, I was honored to step in, with their blessing, and take the reins—committed to continuing what they built.
What began as a way to fund our own golf dreams evolved. Because of our older brother A.D., who devoted himself to professional golf, we saw the true power of youth sports.
Now, this mission is no longer just about us. It’s about equipping the next generation with confidence and tools— while encouraging Junior athletes to seize the opportunities that are too sweet to miss out on!
Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes footage of the journey—unseen, unreleased moments from the early days to where we are now. Like, follow, and share, and drop a comment to let us know your thoughts. Thank you for the support.
