On February 21st and 22nd the Russian River Fungi Fest will be celebrating one of life’s most incredible kingdoms with a two-day festival celebrating all our fantastic fungi. The celebration will be a weekend of mushroom markets, workshops, foraging expeditions, educational talks, Mycelial networking and more.

We at Fort Ross Vineyard are thrilled to be the official launch pad for Fungi Fest Weekend. Thank you for making 2025 unforgettable. We’re grateful for every visit, every toast, every shared moment at our Sonoma Coast vineyard this year.

Our newly released 2023 vintage has been met with tremendous critical acclaim. These exceptional wines include our 2023 Terraces Pinot Noir (97 points, Decanter magazine) & our 2023 Fort Ross Chardonnay (96 points, wine critic ).

Chef Holly Carter joined the tasting room this year. Our commitment to local, seasonal ingredients has found new expression in her hands. Guests delight in her thoughtful, unexpected pairings which showcase winemaker Jeff Pisoni’s remarkable wines.

In 2025, we opened our first trail, the Redwood Walk. Now you can explore more of our estate, with a dash of ecology and history from our local guide.

Outstanding in the Field proposed a Foraging Feast in our redwood forest, we knew it would be an unforgettable evening. Their one-of-a-kind events are legendary. Our Fort Ross Vineyard wines have graced many tables – this was the longest by far!

Sonoma Coast holiday day trip! We love welcoming your out-of-town family and friends at our tasting room. During the Thanksgiving break, folks from California to Kentucky enjoyed our beautiful deck above the coastal fog. We look forward to welcoming you to our unique coastal ridge vineyard this December.

Drawn to a more universal approach to food, she moved to Sonoma County to attend a holistic culinary school, an experience that profoundly shaped her philosophy in the kitchen. With a deep respect for nature, tradition, and flavor, she has been cultivating her own approach ever since, blending culinary heritage with the vibrant bounty of the California coast.
