We love our Ravioli!

Fun Fact: Here's a fun one:
🥟 Ravioli are much older than tomatoes in Italian cuisine.
People in Italy were making ravioli as early as the 14th century, centuries before tomatoes (which came from the Americas) became a staple in Italian cooking. That means the earliest ravioli were filled with ingredients like cheese, herbs, greens, or meat and served in broth or with butter, not tomato sauce.
Bonus fact: Ravioli have cousins all over the world, including Chinese wontons, Polish pierogi, Georgian khinkali, and Jewish kreplach. Many cultures independently came up with the idea of wrapping a filling in dough.
