We had a bull calf born today! The rest of our herd has spring calves, but we found a good deal on this bred registered Simmental that we just couldn't pass up.

We are excited to announce that you can now buy our pasture raised chicken at Cedar County Meat Market! Not only can you get our chicken there, but they also offer some of the best beef and pork as well!

Been busy the last few days putting up some temporary electric fence so I could move our cows to this pasture. It's definitely not high quality forage, but in a drought I'll take what I can get.

As much as I love my animals, it takes up too much of my time and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics such as cleaning and maintaining my home, so something has to give. I will be re-hom ing my collection.😥

That's why I love our mobile chicken coop, it allows us to keep our layers safely enclosed from predators and gives them access to all the green grass and bugs that they can handle! This equals happy chickens and that means we can offer some of the best tasting eggs you've ever had!

Enjoyed a smoked chicken tonight. It's hard to beat pastured raised chicken, so tender and juicy!

We still have a few left if you want to try one for yourself, otherwise our next batch won't be ready until another 8 weeks!
