A little teamwork on a Fries Green Tomato sandwich.

We had some stragglers in the garden and didn’t want them to go to waste so we whipped up one of our favorite treats- fried green tomato sandwich with bacon & pimiento cheese.

Sometimes we make our own pimiento cheese using a recipe of Jacqueline’s Grandma Peggy, but if we can find we use that because it’s just so good 🤤

We love a Waldorf Chicken Salad in our house so we’re giving this a twist with more leftover turkey!

Here’s a quick, simple set of instructions for a Waldorf turkey salad:

1. In a large bowl, combine diced cooked turkey, chopped apples, halved red grapes, and toasted walnuts. (We have a nut allergy in the house so we added them at the end)
2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Rosemary Lemon salt, & Holiday Roast blend.
3. Pour the dressing over the turkey mixture and toss gently to coat.
4. Chill for at least 20–30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
5. Serve over greens, in a sandwich, or with crackers.

Easy, delicious thing to have in the fridge for snacking or lunch! Enjoy!

Staring at a Tupperware full of leftover turkey with no desire to eat it? Problem solved - Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey Pot Pie!

Honestly, it’s delicious and a great way to use the leftover turkey. Bonus - freeze it and save it for later!

Emma is trying to take over as the Mashed Potato Queen of the house but Jacqueline is holding on strong.

In my brother’s Best Man speech at our wedding, he highlighted Jacqueline’s delicious mashed potatoes and how they’ve upped the table game during the holidays.

Follow along for her very unhealthy mashed potatoes-

1 Bag of Russet potatoes, peeled & chopped
1 cup of butter, room temperature
1 cup of cream (we prefer heavy cream, whole milk or a mix), warmed
2 tbsp salt
2 garlic cloves
Bunch of rosemary

Boil potatoes until tender then drain and quick rinse
Pour in warmed heavy cream or milk and drop in butter to melt into the potatoes
Hand mash until creamy
Stir in 2 cloves of minced garlic and finely chopped rosemary
Transfer to serving dish & voilà!
